Hey! I am a past advertising executive turned stay-at-home Mom. Some of my favorite quotes are "Happy Wife, Happy Life" And "If Mom ain't happy, then no one is" So I usually get my way. Lucky for the people around me, I am usually very nice and giving, and I am not that picky. So honestly we end up with a happy medium. (Or that is what I tell myself).
I am creative and love to be hands on and craft. However, I am soo not a professional and I don't usually come up with many ideas on my own! I use inspiration pictures and often copy ideas a lot. Although, I usually change them up just enough to feel like there is a personal touch. Then I question my ideas & creations with my best-friend who is a designer.
Originally we were not thinking our next house would be in the same area we currently lived in. We thought we would go somewhere with more land and a bit away from the city-type life. But life doesn't always happen as WE plan it. And I am ok with that. The truth is, this new house isn't our dream home. We won't be staying in it for the rest of our lives. But it did keep us closer to family and 2 of my closest friends who I turn to when I need favors like "Please send positive supportive thoughts our way. We just put an offer in on a house that we really want to get!"
I feel so thankful for all the blessing life has brought our way. Even if it is not exactly MY first plan!
