HOMEGOODS

I went to Homegoods today for the first time.  When I first stepped in, I was a little taken back, thinking it looked kinda junky.  But as I got deeper in, I definitely found some good finds.  i.e. cute things decently priced.

I will be back.  This trip was meant to be purely a "window shopping" experience!  Because for one, I really need to watch what I spend.  But MOSTLY, because we haven't even moved in yet.  One, I have no idea what I might want, if things will fit, etc.  and Two, my husband will kill me if I start bringing in all these new things into the house we are trying to pack up/ clean out, etc.  ;)

BUT

 and you knew there was a but, didn't you!  

There were some things I just COULDN'T resist.  

First the huge gigantic B that was only $12.99 

I have always ADORED the initial type things.  I also love labeling everything in site, and things with words on them.  I might look up some pictures from my wedding to show you how much I really love it.  :) Anyhow, I realize that the big bold letters might be a bit "sooo yesterday" but I like it, I found a B, and it was a good price, so it is MINE.  I don't really care what is in or out. I have always just been one to do what I like! 

I think both of these look MUCH better in person.  

I have ALWAYS loved the use of the wreath as accents, but they are always so expensive.  

I also thought, ok, these are Fall-ish.  

And technically even though everyone seems to be thinking Christmas already, I still have about 10 or so days till Thanksgiving.  

So I have found places for these in my house right now.  

PLUS

The top one was $5.00 and the bottom (and the one I like more) only $3.50!!!

HOW could I pass that up!!!

My total was a bit over $22.00 for all three items!  

I will certainly be back to keep up on the clearance items at Homegoods!
